In 2015, Ukraine adopted several decommunization laws. One of these laws - “On Condemning the Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes and Prohibiting the Propagation of their Symbols” - banned communist and Nazi symbols and public denial of their crimes. Violators can face imprisonment up to 5 years.
Since then, numerous people in Ukraine, the absolute majority of whom are pensioners with strong Soviet nostalgia, were put on trial and faced punishment. They were accused of “spreading communist propaganda,” mostly on social media like ‘Odnoklassniki,'” by posting Soviet symbols and “liking” others’ posts that contained them.
But what about Nazi symbols, “spreading of Nazi propaganda,” and “public denial of Nazi crimes”? N-o-t-h-i-n-g. Especially if you are a “true patriot” or “defender of the nation.” The photos below prove this.
It seems that law enforcement and the majority of ordinary citizens in Ukraine are not bothered by the celebration and justification of the Nazi regime, while those who are face accusations of “spreading Russian propaganda.”

Guys please pray for me, I feel so depressed that I'm already drinking a vodka coke at 8AM. I don't know, since I've become Catholic it just feels like I'm in an abusive relationship with Pope Francis and I'm not sure how much longer I can take it.
