@sharma_tanushri Two ASHAs (Sandhya Khushwah and Sarita Bhumarkar from the rural districts in MP shared about the advantages of LMS-based training being preferable and their own experiences of personal transformation as they gained mental health counselling skills.

We are training thousands of ASHAs in a low-intensity psychological intervention for perinatal depression.

@Sharma_Tanushri shared about the systematic process of of digitising the THPP counselling manual and Jigyasa Kaur shared experiences of implementing the project.

Chairing this symposium was such a wonderful experience.

The ASHAs who are the torchbearers of India's Primary Care shared experiences of delivering hom-based mental health counselling. They are the preferred and non-stigmatised providers.

Institutionalised mentally ill in India are not being vaccinated due to the technicality of consent.

Requesting govts to be proactive and urgently solve this.
