Whatever the result, we badly need a party that is willing to redistribute wealth and power.
A party that will nationalise our public services, tax the super rich and call a genocide exactly what it is.
And that's the Green Party.

It's good that Reform doesn't have another seat. It's good that Starmer is now done. If this means Labour pulls back across from being a barely centre-right party to a reasonably centre-left one, that's also good.
The trouble is: the evidence suggests that's not going to happen.
Zack Polanski has been cleared over the payment of council tax.
All the people who attacked him should apologise.
Of course, all politicians should be scrutinised.
But @ZackPolanski is being smeared because he threatens an order rigged in favour of the rich.
The government of Lebanon just filed a formal complaint with the United Nations because Israel sprayed tens of thousands of pounds of poisonous cancer causing chemicals all over Lebanese farm lands.
If you still think this has ANYTHING to do with Hezbollah you're stupid.
The Tories are degrading the BBC so they can shut it.
Reduce quality so less and less people care about it so less fight for it.
It’s how you destroy things 101.
Prevents mass outrage and reduces it to mass apathy.
There is now clear evidence that the Great Israeli Real Estate event had unlawful activity at it.
I've written to the Mayor of London to ask what he intends to do about it.
This needs to be escalated immediately.
The Israeli Supreme Court, supposedly the last bastion of Israeli "democracy", just signed Dr Husam Abu Safiya's death warrant.
The court rejected his appeal and ordered for the continuation of his unlawful detention, knowing full well that he is being held in abhorrent conditions, without cause or indictment and being subjected to torture on a regular basis.
Hostage taking, torture, rejection of the most basic human rights; with this kind of democracy, who needs fascism?
Free Dr Husam Abu Safiya now!
It's illegal to say
I support Palestine Action
and
I support Palestine Action with all my heart
with a jail sentence of up to 14 years, as I informed viewers
This is wrong on the suffragettes but it's also wrong on Palestine Action. The court said Palestine Action acted covertly.
But Pal Action operated very much in the public domain, sharing videos and content. They had a Twitter and Instagram account! It's founders Huda Ammori and Richard Barnard were known and widely interviewed about how they operated. In July 2024 Prospect had a profile of them both called "How to shut down a weapons factory." Pal Action contributed op-eds and actionists were widely interviewed (often after they were acquitted, like the Elbit 3 were in 2021).
It's only true inasmuch as they didn't broadcast their targets ahead of time because that would lead to them being stopped. Duh, of course not. Did the suffragettes publish pamphlets ahead of time saying where they were going to smash windows and chain themselves to railings? Did the anti-apartheid movement and Lord Peter Hain phone the government to let them know when they were going to invade sports pitches or lock themselves to stadia?
As ever, it's hard not to despair at the British judiciary and it's deference to government power. Don't forget it was the same courts that decided it was ok for the UK to send F-35 parts to Israel despite the very clear risk that they contribute to war crimes, saying that it wasn't for the courts to gainsay executive decisions - decisions taken by politicians funded by pro-Israeli donors and taking free all-expenses trips to Israel.
This is absolutely insane.
The suffragettes used far more extreme tactics than Palestine Action.
They planted bombs, burned down private homes and smashed up art galleries.
They killed five people!
Her outrageous judgement is based on absurd historical ignorance.
