Two subnet owner wallets got drained yesterday. SN15 and SN102, not a Subtensor exploit — the chain itself is fine — just owner keys/wallet getting compromised.

Honestly this is the cost of being early. 128 subnets means 128 different teams with 128 different security setups, and not all of them are good and I'm sure more of this is coming.

It doesn't move me off the thesis at all. Bittensor's whole design is a network of independent economies — one subnet getting hit doesn't sink the ship, the other 127 keep running. That's the resilience decentralisation is supposed to buy you.

But what it DOES do is change how I size subnet risk. Less "ape into a favourite and hold," and more of spreading my capital into subnets with owner conviction, the actual work they are delivering, transparency, and checking who's behind the wallet before I stake. TAO stays my core. Alpha is where I'm getting pickier. #bittensor
