@Imranmuhdz You see that failed part of the Lagos - Ibadan expressway, it's highly disappointing that under 6 years of the completion of that project it has begun to fail..... With the strategic corridor and volume of load on that road, it is supposed to be well monitored.
Morayo: The average Nigerian youth doesn’t see the growth the Government claims is happening in the economy. Where is the growth? How can it be felt and measured?

HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU’S CONCRETE ROAD HELPED AVERT TRAGEDY IN DELTA AIRCRAFT INCIDENT
On Wednesday, June 10, a Nigerian aircraft developed problems while trying to land at Asaba Airport in Delta State. Unable to complete its landing at the airport, the aircraft eventually landed on a concrete road near Ogwashi-Uku.
What could have ended in tragedy is now a story of survival. All crew members on board escaped without injury.
As aviation authorities investigate the incident, many Nigerians have pointed to an important lesson: good infrastructure can make a difference when it matters most.
The road on which the aircraft landed provided a stable surface during a critical emergency. While roads are primarily built for vehicles, this incident points at the importance of investing in quality and durable infrastructure. It is how well-constructed roads can deliver value beyond their intended purpose and, in unexpected situations, contribute to safety and help avert disaster.
This is one of the reasons the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to promote the use of concrete pavement on major roads across the country. Concrete roads are designed to be stronger, more durable, and able to withstand heavy pressure over a long period.
In almost every parts of Nigeria, several road projects are being constructed or reconstructed using concrete technology under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Works led by Senator Engr. David Umahi.
The Asaba incident serves as a reminder that infrastructure is not just about transportation. Well-built roads support economic growth, improve connectivity, enhance safety, and in rare situations like this, can help prevent a bad situation from becoming a disaster.
Sometimes, the true value of quality infrastructure is seen when the unexpected happens.
