🇮🇹 Eddie Howe is optimistic that Sandro Tonali WILL be fit for the final match of the season against Fulham, despite being forced off during the 3-1 victory over West Ham.

​Tonali was substituted early in the second half after experiencing discomfort in his hamstring. The Italian international is scheduled for an assessment at the training ground, but early indications suggest the problem is not severe, according to The Northern Echo. Eddie remains hopeful that the midfielder can feature at Craven Cottage this coming Sunday.

​"I think Sandro felt his hamstring. I don’t think it was a big injury, but it was enough for him to come off. We’ll see how he is for the final game."

With his future the subject of much speculation let's hope that wasn't his final home appearance for Newcastle United
