I think part of Morch's point is that, if the 1st of these things makes sense, so does the 2nd.

Any two experiences that differ even slightly are clearly not the SAME experience, but the quality of BEING AN EXPERIENCE is the same between them. There is sameness and difference, in a huge range of degrees.
