At 11 am tomorrow I will announce a major and long overdue tax reform.
Reform UK will turn the tables on two-tier Britain.
We will build an economy that puts British workers first. Always.
This Government has all the money in the world for Ed Milliband’s mad plans, foreign aid, and benefits for foreigners. But nothing for our armed forces.
Good on John Healey. Shame on them. Reeves and Starmer should go too. And with them this wretched Labour Government.
➡️ REFORM UK GAIN IN HETTON
Joanne Lloyd has been elected to Hetton Town Council for the Hetton-le-Hole Ward, winning with >50% of the vote.
This is a fantastic result for Reform UK locally and marks our second councillor gained on Hetton Town Council.
Thank you to everyone who put their trust in Joanne and in Reform Sunderland. This result sends a clear message that residents want strong local voices who will stand up for their area, listen to concerns and get things done.
Congratulations Joanne, a brilliant win and another step forward for Reform in Hetton.
2 weeks ago I was stood on the summit of Mount Everest with my 17 year old son Gabriel.
2 days ago I was finishing of a 4 day charity hiking for a veteran charity across the beaches of Normandy for the 82nd anniversary of D-Day to remember and to pay our upmost respects to our fallen heroes from WWII 🫡🎖️
Today I was in Makerfield supporting a fellow veteran, friend and all round good guy @RobKenyonReform not only to help unite the right but also to help prevent at all costs Labour and Andy Burham from winning this all important by-election.
It’s a two horse race (Rob Kenyon and Andy Burham) if Labour lose this seat then they’re done and will be gone in no time. If Burham gets in, he becomes the next PM with months, Labour stabilises and then stick around until the next general election. We need them out NOW!
This is a strategic vote, not a time to play into Labours hands. We are a lot smarter than this. Those on the right I urge you to think this by-election through.
It’s the most important one we’ve had for decades #unitetheright 🫡🇬🇧🏴
This is the real Andy Burnham.
He promised affordable housing, then diverted hundreds of millions in taxpayer funding to one developer's property empire.
It gets worse and worse for the Conservative leadership of Hampshire Police.
I know too many hard-working, brave, decent local police officers in Hampshire who are fed up with this nonsense. They are being let down.
Disingenuous.
I was the Home Secretary who first called out two tier policing.
And what did a Conservative PM do?
Sack me.
The Conservative Party should be apologising to the nation, instead of criticising the only party that speaks for the British people.
It’s exactly why I left that rotten party.
Sainsbury’s Net Stupid Zero madness:
Brown eggs banned in store’s
White eggs allowed as lower carbon footprint
Seriously?
Two tier eggs now…. https://t.co/XasFId6z9d
I have written to the Attorney General requesting that Digwa’s sentence be referred to the Court of Appeal because it is unduly lenient.
As a former Attorney General myself, and as a Hampshire MP, I believe the Judge’s sentence does not reflect the enormity of Digwa’s crime, lies and behaviour.
I will keep fighting for justice for Henry.
Henry Nowak’s murderer, Vickrum Digwa was assisted by his mother Kiran Kaur.
As Henry lay bleeding out, she hid the murder weapon.
She is an Indian national convicted of assisting an offender.
As Home Secretary in a Reform government I would deport her immediately.
A tenant farmer in the Cairngorms says land that sold for £500 an acre a few years ago now goes for £5,000. He is being moved off ground his family has worked for generations, because he cannot outbid the people buying it. The buyers are corporations, and they have no intention of farming a single acre of it.
Here is how the trick works. A company keeps emitting carbon exactly as before. Same factories, same flights, same supply chain, same product. Then it buys a Scottish hillside, plants some trees, and announces to the world that it is now carbon neutral, or, if it is feeling brave, carbon negative. The emissions never fell. It simply bought a landscape to point at.
Take BrewDog. In 2020 it bought a 9,300-acre Highland estate, propped up with public grant money, and promised a million trees and the crown of the world's first carbon negative beer business, removing twice the carbon it emitted, forever. By 2023 roughly half of the 500,000 trees it had managed to plant were dead, killed by drought, with critics noting the planting was drying out the peat and releasing carbon of its own. The advertising regulator ruled its carbon-negative claims misleading. In 2024 it quietly dropped the badge and dismissed the entire carbon credit market as a flood of cheap schemes whose benefit was "questionable, maybe even non-existent." Then it sold the estate to a firm whose actual business is selling carbon offsets.
That is the whole model in one story. Public money in. Dead trees out. A green halo worn for four years and then dropped. The farmer who used to be on that land, gone. The hillside passed to a company that exists purely to sell other people the right to keep polluting.
This is no fringe case. In one recent year, half of every estate sold in Scotland went to investment funds, corporations and charitable trusts rather than anyone who would farm it. A third of the deals for plantable land are now done off-market, in secret, precisely so the local community never gets the chance to bid.
So this is what net zero looks like on the ground. A man who produced food is priced out of his own glen. A corporation that produced emissions buys the glen, calls itself a force for good, and sells the carbon. The land stops feeding anyone. Nobody's emissions actually went down by a gram.
The food was real. The farmer was real. The carbon saving is a line in a slide deck.
And we have somehow decided the villain in all this is the man with the sheep.
WW2 hero Alec Penstone has passed away at 101. Here he was telling us that it may not have been worth it. How dare we have failed men like this that sacrificed so very much. We must work every single damn day to get our country back. God rest you, Sir.
Recent events demonstrate why I view the Tory and Labour politicians who created the burning injustice of modern Britain as traitors to their country.
A reckoning is coming.
