The 2026 National Sevens Circuit has received a major boost after SportPesa unveiled a KSh 34.14 million sponsorship package, doubling last year’s investment and reaffirming its commitment to the growth of Kenyan rugby. The partnership will support teams, clubs, media coverage, fan experiences, and increased prize money as the 25th edition of the circuit kicks off on 25th–26th July with the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru before travelling across the country and culminating with the Christie 7s in Nairobi in September.

From SVNS 2 on home soil in Nairobi, to Montevideo, and finally São Paulo, the journey has been nothing short of remarkable. A second-place finish with 50 points secured our place among the best in the Championship, where we took on the challenge of Hong Kong, Valladolid, and a tough Bordeaux campaign.
Though the season ends with a 9th-place finish in the Championship, the boys represented Kenya with pride, heart, and courage on every stage. Your resilience, determination, and passion for the jersey inspired a nation.
Congratulations, Shujaa, on a memorable season and for flying the Kenyan flag high across the world. 🇰🇪
To our passionate fans, incredible sponsors, and everyone who walked this journey with us , Asanteni sana! Your unwavering support made this possible, and we are deeply grateful for every cheer, every message, and every moment shared along the way.
The journey continues.💪🏾
Kenya 7s have beaten Uruguay 26-7 to finish 11th in Bordeaux.
