I am so disappointed in Kristen Welker since she became host of Meet The Press. Welker started her tenure by doing a softball fawning interview with Donald Trump where she excitedly claimed the “biggest takeaway” from the interview was that Donald Trump wanted to be a ”deal maker” in his second term. No questions about overthrowing democracy or other nefarious plans. Welker seems oblivious to the dangers of Donald Trump. Neither Welker nor Lester Holt asked a single question about Donald Trump’s announced plans to round up and imprison his political enemies if re-elected during the Republican debate. In the 90 minute GOP debate. There was only one question asked about Donald Trump and that was why the candidates think they should be elected instead of Trump. Now today she has RNC Chair Ronna McDonald on Meet the Press. She did ask about the Trump plan to build detainment camps for legal and illegal immigrants. But McDaniel avoided the question and Welker did not follow up and demand she answer. Instead. Welker allowed her to ignore the question and told McDaniel how she was “honored” to have her on Meet the Press.Kristen Welker is destroying the once great reputation of Meet The Press. Her bias in favor of Donald Trump and the GOP is obvious. NBC needs to reevaluate their choice as host. In the vital next year leading up to the 2024 election.NBC needs someone who will challenge both Democrats and Republicans. Not be as one sided as Meet the Press has become.

I'll tell you, I was miffed about 31 Democrats voting not to expel George Santos.

But then, when I saw Rep. Jamie Raskin's statement (below) on why he voted NOT to expel, it totally made sense to me.

I still don't like it, but he's 100% right about setting a bad precedent, and sticking by due process which means wait until Santos is convicted.

It all started when the British government announced yesterday that it plans to start providing training to Ukrainian troops to help them defeat Russia’s deadly invasion.

Today, Taylor Greene responded in Trumper fashion, taking Russia’s side and declaring that the British government is “going to start WWIII” by helping Ukraine protect its vulnerable population from Russia’s attack.

But Taylor Greene wasn’t done there, declaring that America “must not participate” in helping Ukraine defend itself — which would be music to Vladimir Putin’s ears.

It’s truly shocking to see an American member of Congress attack Britain, one of America’s top allies, with such an offensive, unhinged declaration.

BREAKING: Trumper Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is caught in a massive new scandal as reporters reveal that she spent a whopping $20,000 of taxpayer money on a podium that was never delivered — and then tried to cover it up by abusing her power.

It all started when it was revealed that she wasted $20,000 on the wooden podium. Then, the Arkansas Republican Party swooped in and paid for the podium in order to save her from the growing scandal — and Huckabee Sanders quickly got a law passed that would block the public from knocking what she had spent their money on.

Unfortunately for Huckabee Sanders, the scandal was only just beginning, and about to get MUCH worse for her, because a REPUBLICAN lawmaker smelled a rat and immediately demanded that the Legislative Audit of Arkansas initiate a full audit of her podium purchase — and every single another purchase that she had made with taxpayer dollars.

Now, reporters, auditors, and ethics organizations are accusing Huckabee Sanders of using the $20,000 of taxpayer money to pay a friend’s company — and that it appears that the podium was never even delivered.

To make matters worse, they claim that Sanders show used taxpayer money to fly her friend, who happens to be one of the organizers of Trump’s January 6 insurrection, to Paris to join her on a trip.

I’m other words, Huckabee-Sanders inflated the price of a wooden podium that appears to have never even been delivered, funneled the taxpayer money to an insurrectionist friend, and then tried to hide the purchase from taxpayers and reporters.

Simply deplorable…
