Two things happen when we are saved: Our sin is imputed to Jesus, and His righteousness is imputed to us. In this brief clip, R.C. Sproul explains the great exchange of double imputation.
“All the powers of the world cannot take away my life, until God permits. All the physicians of earth cannot preserve it, when God calls me away.”
– J.C Ryle
What do I pray when I don’t feel like praying:
1. Confess my sin.
2. Use the prayers of Scripture.
3. Recite God’s attributes.
4. Thank God for His blessings.
5. Pray through a prayer list.
6. Focus on the needs of others.
7. Rejoice that Jesus is praying for me.
The fear of the Lord is not a negative thing at all, but an intensely delighted wondering at God.
