Work an eight hour shift. Get up an hour early. Then if you have to run errands afterwards that’s more. Then cooking and eating. That’s 12 hours right there. Try to get decent amount of sleep. That leaves four ish hours a day for yourself. That’s not insane to y’all?
Something that is extremely important to me is being able to take my therapist hat off when I get home so that I am present mentally and emotionally for my husband. I make a conscious effort to hold space for him.
