How to make $1,000,000 (easy):
• Borrow $1M at 3%
• Place it in the S&P 500 at 15%
• Wait 5 years → $2M
• Pay back the loan, keep $1M
Why aren’t you doing this?
Ok hindsight I looked through the docs and I’m pretty sure that’s just the max funding rate clamped. Maybe the impact price was heavily skewed cause I didn’t see any big taker orders.
Idk this might be alpha to someone, idk jack fuck as to why someone was quoting so higher over the index for so long that it became that high. Or I think more likely a bug in the code. I don't see any huge taker orders in the book.
Anyone used Zig for anything quant related. Presumably HFT stuff instead of Cpp or C. Going to be starting a little project soon just to learn Zig basics. Probably gonna build out some tooling
Telling all people who want to learn to code to “just use Python” is horribly misguided. I love Python but it’s not clear or structured and lets beginners write really shitty code. I would personally recommend Go, good mix of structure and dev friendliness.
