He says, “I completed a ride from Kerala to Kashmir without a front wheel, and now I am going from Kerala to Everest Base Camp...I am a graduate student who studied civil engineering and interior designing, and I am also a professional bike stunter. We train the Indian Army for their parade stunts...so far, I have completed over 7,000 km…I cover about 50 to 60 km daily on average, with my single-day highest being 150 km, depending entirely on the road conditions and climate. High winds in this region make balancing especially challenging…riding without a front wheel is very difficult compared to normal cycling, but I have 12 years of experience…I want to spread the message to say no to drugs in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and all across India, to show people that you don't need drugs to achieve something different - do what makes you happy and don't ruin your life. If my journey inspires even one person to change their mindset, that will be my true world record.” (18.08)

#WATCH 🎥 | Almora, Uttarakhand: A glimpse of personal air mobility from the hills. Ravi Tamta, founder of Hapida Sky Pvt Ltd, has successfully test-flown the prototype of HAPIDA SKYNeX, a single-seater electric flying vehicle developed using modified drone technology.

The prototype is designed to explore personal aerial mobility, with its electric propulsion and compact design aimed at making short-distance air travel possible, particularly in difficult-to-reach terrain.

The test flight, conducted in Almora, has drawn attention as an example of home-grown experimentation in electric aviation. Reports say the project is being developed with potential applications in hill connectivity and other situations where conventional road travel can be challenging.

While the successful test is an early prototype milestone, not yet a commercially approved flying car - it puts a spotlight on India's emerging interest in electric and drone-derived personal air mobility.

The Tamil Nadu government has tightened restrictions on political activities inside government schools, directing that political party members and private individuals should not enter classrooms or conduct political events on school premises. Events held in government schools must maintain political neutrality and have educational relevance. The issue gained fresh attention after the headmistress of a Panchayat Union Middle Girls’ School in Krishnarayapuram, Karur district, allegedly showed a live telecast of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s public meeting to students during school hours on Friday. A video showing uniformed students watching Vijay’s speech on a classroom projector went viral on social media. Following the controversy, the headmistress was suspended. Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Raj Mohan said the screening was the headmistress’s own decision, indicating that there was no government direction to show the Chief Minister’s event to students.

Cautioning the meeting, the Chief Minister said, "If a complainant comes to you, resolve their problem immediately."
