This will be my first full novel format story so I will definitely need to run it by some kind of structure editor/ someone who knows how everything is supposed to be spaced correctly, professionally and not figured out by eye from reading other novels.
Reason 4.
Advances. I find it odd that we still try to hold on to paper-edition. I don't see how physical editions hold any merit over the potential of digital edition. There's probably a lot of ways to engineer reading to an even more advanced degree if we stop holding on.
Reason 1.
Font size! I've found some paper editions have been more cruel on my eyes than in the past. Having the ability to control font size will hopefully improve this!
Reason 3.
Accessibility. You can't always get a hold of certain books in person. You're somewhat withheld to the whim of the seller. With the internet at our disposable we can reach out and comb through specific sections!
I'm going to be getting into more digital formats soon. Once I send my novel out to proofreaders, I will be looking to buy scifi-fantasy and cyberpunk books from the twitter community!
Maybe digital is the way to go. Less production costs on publishers whether corporate or independent. Having a tablet or kindle also possibly helps reduce eye strain with things like comfort viewing? And you can have a computer screen further and safer away for your eyes.
Basically just need to do another round of edits at this point and I'm done with Shatter the Vial. It's getting annoying though.
Every time I go to write, every time I start a new session, right when I start typing a dog barks or a car blasts off in the distance.
Had a prompt idea: a story about some kind of system failing because the wrong type of cog was used in the gears and the cog wore down or broke or something over time.
