@Gallup@Gallup This is very interesting. Which countries showed the highest level of concern for the environment and for health? Thank you for your work!
@Brian_Cronin@csbg@CBR Hmm, like you point out, I'm not sure this really clears the bar of being a retcon, since it's still compatible with the original take. But I love this line of inquiry, and I'll let you know if I encounter any other candidates!
@Brian_Cronin I figured a good starting guess would be a red kryptonite story, which I remember had a different effect pretty much every time it was used, but I haven't been able to find a single one yet where it turns him evil. Maybe I'm just conflating that memory with Superman 3/Smallville
@Brian_Cronin do you know offhand what is the earliest story in which Superman goes evil? I thought I remembered a CBLR (or maybe another series) entry like that, but wasn't able to find one
@Brian_Cronin Imagine if early sportswriting or movie reviews in old newspapers had simply disappeared after a couple decades going unread. The loss to our ability today to reconstruct those eras would be incalculable. Internet archive will be an incredible boon to future historians
@ash4nd1021@nmzhoops I'll give it to the Warriors, but honorable mention for the Pistons, who go all the way back to the NBL in 1942, where they won multiple titles before the merger
@Brian_Cronin I think anyone who draws Superman is a Superman artist. But if the broader question is whether Jimmy Olsen is a Superman feature, I say yes both because Superman always appears, and because his name is in the title. If Olsen left that shadow occasionally, maybe different story
@PeterVecsey1 One encouraging thing during the Nuggets run last year was that broadcasters often acknowledged the ABA years when referencing their drought. I hope the Pacer org is equally ready to claim success...
@PeterVecsey1 At least the ABA Pacers have numbers in the rafters in Indy. Will hopefully make them harder to ignore. Either way, my #35 jersey is ready!
@abathrowbacks He's unique for many reasons. My favorite being that he's the only player to lead his team to a title even after losing their best player to injury. This fact is even more fun after you learn how legendarily combative he was. Hardly the normal type to inspire a togetherness rally
