@DavidLammy "And yet too often it feels like there are those who want to sneer at it, undermine it, and drag us backwards."
Perhaps you shouldn't be so shit at your jobs as to imply the hiring of these people was indeed a massive mistake & future govs would do well to avoid hiring trash..?
For two years, parents, schools and campaigners have been accused of "scaremongering".
For two years, @bphillipsonMP has responded to concerns by saying she "does not accept" the evidence.
Today we publish a report comparing what Ministers said would happen with what has actually happened.
The evidence is not "chatter".
It is official Government data.

@Noahpinion What our guys don't want to say out loud is that we've managed energy so poorly we couldn't cope with the demand of a big uptake of AC.
Noone is dumb enough to believe AC wouldn't help, but they view the public with enough contempt to invent reasons why they'll pretend it can't.
Labour’s education tax has caused 30,000 children to leave private schools…with no corresponding benefit to the state sector. It was all about class war and red meat for their base.
30,000 state school places that were being paid for through those children’s parents’ taxes, but not claimed, are now needed, while teacher numbers in the state sector have fallen.
If that’s not spiteful, what is it?
@jessicaelgot Good. The VAT on private schools went as bad as predicted. It cost them money, it displaced way more kids, it closed several schools removing handmedowns to publics & overall teacher numbers dropped.
This policy was spiteful. They didn't care every outcome from it would be bad.
@woodford_simon@DuncanBannatyne The only credible thing coming out is that he'll borrow significantly more than this gov.. who are already breaking records at a time where cost to borrow is extremely high.. The metrics that sunk Truss are being surpassed..
That Ed is in contention for chancellor is terrifying
@mikesulsenti They don't, it's just funny to see what is effectively: HEY I MADE SOMETHING NEW. IS IT BETTER? NO. IS IT CHEAPER? ALSO, NO.
So it's small and you can brag you bought one.. cool.
They can do what they want, but we reserve all rights including both to point & or laugh.
@lowles_nick You'd know all about making shit up to stir shit up, wouldn't you?
So desperate to stop being the loser all your life you almost kicked off the worst civil unrest in our lifetime over something you made up for fucking social media interactions.
Do us all a favour and stfu.
@Steven_Swinford Those speaking in favour of Ed need to be banned from having anything to do with politics. He hasn't shaped the agenda, he's losing ground in public opinion, NESO, CCC, the utility leaders, etc etc. Literally everyone can see how retarded his decisions have been except him.
@jakonian To be fair an insane amount of news sites in the random side feed on my phone do this bullshit but they aren't as transparent. For them it's accept cookies or fuck off. I don't have any love for the sun but at least they are open & giving a real option there.
