i have been buying GPUs for the past month & gotten firsthand insight into how sales processes are changing due to ai.

vendors are now sending us forms with prompts built in & assuming that we are going to hand them off to our agent who will gather context to fill them out.

the one in the image is an anonymized example, but i gave the real version to opus 5-5 & it executed perfectly.

i think it's likely that ai leads to infinite GDP growth. every 0.1% of bureaucracy we cut leads to ~$100B in GDP created.

right now only the most ai-pilled customers & vendors are doing this, but it will soon be everyone. we're not ready for how insane the compute crunch is going to be. we're still so early.

Unpopular take, but nobody should make in the US for the sake of the US alone.

Our markets and our own government are together brutal and completely unforgiving. It's not treason to make the best business decision in the face of the competitive environment.

If there's a failing it's that our elected leaders are impotent and that our systems are too forgiving of foreign adversaries who weaponize our own open trade policies against us.

You can't call it "treason" for a business to act in its own self interest, in the environment it exists in. It would be horrible management for it to build here even if it doesn't make economic sense

I registered for GST just a few days ago for my new startyp, and everything was succesfully approved.

Today, i received a call from a company called Edopy offering website and app development services. I asked them how they got my number.

Their response genuinely shocked me. we got ur lead from gst we specifically approach businesses that have recently registered for gst.

I registered on the official government gst portal, so how did a private company get access to my phhone number??

is anyone here familiar with gst/data privacy who can explain how this is possible ??

Was really interesting to hear John, Beren, and Charlie speculate about why Sonnet 5 and Opus 5 feel like worse models than GLM 5.3

(despite the fact that Anthropic can do raw logit distillation from Fable, and can also train Sonnet/Opus on the environments from which Fable was trained).
