I saw Scottish tribal band Clann An Drumma tonight in Edinburgh - well worth a watch, and they are playing three more dates during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
I really enjoyed listening to country music and blue grass when touring the US. Need to find some new artists. Any recommendations?
I have always liked Johnny Cash, but enjoy some modern bands like the Dead South too, who are Canadian.
A lot of strong recommendations for Colorado in the comments. Since I’m out of the US for at least three months while I do the visa stuff, I doubt I’ll make it this year - however next year I’ll go for sure. Sounds and looks amazing!

PS Rocky Top is an awesome song, but I know this might spark some football wars.
I feel like a whole new world of music awaits 🤩🤠

Took a selfie with a Scottish legend tonight in Edinburgh - a man who helped inspire America as it is today.
Adam Smith, economist and author of the Wealth of Nations (published in 1776, the same year as the Declaration of Independence) believed in free markets.
He obviously lived in a very different time, but many of his ideas have endured and set the building blocks for modern-day capitalism.
Met three Americans from Colorado in Scotland last night while out walking the street. Ended up spending the night showing them some Edinburgh bars and had the best night. When I say Americans are fun and kind, I see it time and time again from folks from very different states and backgrounds. And now I need to visit Colorado 🙌🤩
Reliving a wild 72 hours in Atlanta.
Huge thanks to my friends @andyachopra and @rdreesch for the hospitality, looking after us and showing us Buckhead!
An amazing experience and I cannot wait to return - I can confirm my next trip will be in time for the end of College Football season 👀 🏈🇺🇸
In this video, I stayed at the Springhill Suites Buckhead, went to a private speakeasy for the first time, had my first ever cigar, watched the World Cup semi finals, and celebrated with the crazy Argentinians 😆
I’m enjoying sharing my US journey in words too, and will be writing regular in-depth thoughts on my experience of chasing the American Dream. Join in: https://t.co/mpiW6JT13d
Finally, a World Cup tourist vlogger collab has happened. It was so nice to meet @elsathora here in Edinburgh tonight. We went to an Outlander filming location and then to the most haunted pub in the world (pictured).
It was amazing to compare notes on our America adventures. We saw some of the same places on our travels, but a lot of different ones. In common though is we both had incredible life-changing experiences and both met so many kind folks across the States.
Was so fun to relive it all and talk through what a wild time we both had!
Great to meet you @elsathora !! 🇸🇪🇺🇸🏴
Nashville Meat n’ Three!
Arnold’s is the place and from the moment we walked in the door, boss man Khalil Arnold made us feel at home. Not only that, he gave us a free pancake - which is the best I’ve had in my life - but when he found out I hadn’t yet had one of his biscuits and gravy, he refused to let me leave until we had tried one.
This is some of the best food we’ve had in America, hands down.
If you are anywhere within the vicinity, go to Arnold’s!
