Many ecumenical councils had no issue with the 73 books, and they were closer to the source documents (realtive). The books in the Bible where chosen through many men guided by the Holy Spirit, not a lone person.

@Storm15660 @Burgess7281975 When He reads at Synagogues, he read directly from scrolls. When Christ calls scripture, it was from LXX and HB, meaning he was using it as source text also.. NOT only HB. Just like our Bible wasnt ratified until Trent, the HB was not closed canonically until the 1st C AD

@Storm15660 @Burgess7281975 I never claimed ecumenical councils, rather widely attended over the period of selection. However, Trent formally ratified the Canon as they did with many other things after Luther. This didn't mean they weren't already widely accepted and used.

@farmingandJesus Next in John 6, the actual Greek for "eat my Flesh" is more accurately translated to "Naw my flesh". Remember many deciples left him at that point (Jn 6:66) 🤔 so yes we believe it is the true flesh, why because he said it was, and he told us to eat it.. not symbol, or represents

@farmingandJesus Lizzie your missing a few things, the Jewish contextual meaning of remebrence, this is an aculization, the same as the passover meal, it is told as you are in the present, past, future at the same time. But we are witnessing is the one and only, the same sacrifice.
