When our family volunteered to deliver groceries to a few families (a drop in the bucket when 3,000+ need food), I texted the gal from the resettlement agency, “So glad to be a small part of meeting a huge need.”

When we show up as an American friend to a stranger & foreigner who is starting over, it is an immeasurable blessing to them & for us! Most have no one to help them learn a foreign culture plus eduction, healthcare & financial systems, all while learning a new language. Imagine.

Simple needs include household goods and food donations, transportation, grocery delivery, help with moving and unpacking donated furniture and household supplies. Things we can do online or with a few hours of our time. Time. Hope. Friendship. Will we?

Afghanis who helped our military earned a spot on a Taliban hit list, along with their families. Flee or be killed. Many had only 2 hours notice to get to the airport and get out. No possessions, no provisions, no money.
