@camperonbf1@geezpeaceu@20MinuteTims The 'coach' is talking nonsense. No 16 year-old at Liverpool earns that sort of money. They receive something closer to £250-£300 per week. At 17, Rio Ngumoha earns close to the maximum the club will pay at 17YO, £52k a year.
@camperonbf1@geezpeaceu@20MinuteTims Where are you getting that information from? LFC pay 16YOs at the academy around £1200 a month. Once they turn 17 they can a sign a contract but the club has a salary cap of £50k a year for players that age.
@PaulSmithJnr ...Campbell Hatton, it bothers me. Losing a central area title doesn't make you a nobody, it makes you a somebody. I'm glad you eulogised about David's career. I enjoyed the episode.
@PaulSmithJnr ...I would have given my right arm to even get close to a county title. And the reason I didn't was simply becuase I wasn't good enough. People who did win county/district titles were like celebrities to me. So when I see the nonsense spoken about people like ...
@jamesaknight I had started following racing the season before, but I was not aware enough of prices at that point to understand if firms had different views.
@PaulSmithJnr Best example for this was the Collins Lorente rematch in which Barry Jones, Carl Frampton and Adam Smith all got confused about how to score a round when there was a kd but the fighter knocked down possibly won the round.
@PaulSmithJnr Agree with most of that, but not the last bit. There's an issue with pundits without boxing experience talking about mindset and ring IQ, agree with that. But, at present, we have too many ex pros 'scoring' for tv who have never read the BBBoC's guidance on scoring.
@RacingTV@SenseiChanning@LuckOnSunday@betangel Do you record markets every day? I agree with NC, I was involved in that race yesterday and there appeared to be a very late move for the winner while the judge was deliberating.
@BigScotsAl@Dr_Gavin_Brewis Statue unnecessary. Accuracy is. He played hundreds of times in the EPL for Liverpool, Blackburn and Villa. He was clearly a good player.
The vast majority of the population will have to read the headline carefully to understand what's going on.
The Guardian eh?
Facts are sacred ...aren't they?

@ScotNational Those figures I've pasted are not per capita, but unless there has been a very large rise in the Glasgow population over the last 5 years (perhaps possible) then those numbers indicate a real increase in those 2 types of crimes.
@ScotNational I don't think you've been completely accurate with your 'year on year' comments nor specified why you have compared one year with another from 10 years ago. Perhaps it is in an article and I've not seen it.
