On Monday, The People's Theatre hosted their annual gala, themed "In the Home Stretch" to celebrate the upcoming opening of Centro Cultural Inmigrante. We’re proud to be part of the team bringing El Centro to life—a transformational community anchor designed to celebrate culture, foster connection, and create opportunity. The evening also recognized Executive Vice President Dave Margolius for his leadership and commitment to building spaces where inclusion, care, and community come first.

Representing 34 colleges across 15 states, these students will gain hands-on experience this summer across project management, site supervision, estimating, safety, and internal operations.

Investing in the next generation is an important part of our culture of continuous learning. By developing early-career talent, we’re helping build a strong pipeline of future leaders for both Shawmut and the construction industry.

We're proud to share that Brown University's Lindemann Performing Arts Center has received a 2026 iF Gold Design Award—one of the most prestigious honors in global design. Selected from more than 10,000 submissions across 68 countries, The Lindemann was one of just 75 projects worldwide to earn a Gold Trophy.

Designed by REX to push the boundaries of performance, the 101,000-square-foot facility features a revolutionary Main Performance Hall that can transform into five distinct stage-audience configurations through an intricate system of suspended seating gantries, motorized lifts, telescoping risers, and acoustic panels. The result is one of the world's most flexible and technologically advanced performance venues, supporting everything from orchestral concerts to experimental media productions.

In Massachusetts, the Town of Wellesley’s new Hardy Elementary School has officially achieved LEED Gold certification. Designed as a next-generation, net-zero-ready learning environment, the 365-student K–5 school delivers meaningful environmental impact while creating inspiring spaces for students and educators alike.

The $72.5 million project features collaborative learning neighborhoods, a STEAM lab, two-story library, media center, outdoor classrooms, and specialized spaces that support diverse learning styles and sensory needs.

Key sustainability outcomes include:
• 42.7% carbon reduction
• 30%+ reduction in water use
• 89% of construction waste diverted from landfills

As a proud partner of @UCLA, congratulations to @UCLABaseball for winning the @bigten Tournament. The #1 ranked Bruins will host the first regional game of the College World Series at Jackie Robinson Stadium, where we performed infrastructure upgrades to support @UCLAAthletics' Big Ten broadcasting capabilities—helping ensure Bruins home games are fully equipped for production and distribution on the B1G+ digital platform.

The David E. and Stacey L. Goel Center for Creativity & Performance—the future home of the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University—is one of the largest mass timber performing arts buildings in North America, bringing together advanced mass timber construction, complex acoustic performance requirements, and highly coordinated prefabrication within a design-forward cultural space.

Designed by Haworth Tompkins and ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge, the 86,000-square-foot facility is taking shape through an extraordinary level of planning, technical precision, and collaboration.

In Norwood, Massachusetts, the FM Science and Technology Center, Americas is taking shape as a next-generation, 320,000-square-foot research and development hub. In partnership with Hobbs Brook Real Estate and Payette, the project is transforming a 17-acre campus through a bold redevelopment centered on sustainability, performance, and long-term resiliency.

Designed as a fully electric facility, the campus integrates 221 geothermal wells, resilient utility infrastructure, a high-performance façade system, and a 930-space precast parking structure—all delivered through complex coordination, advanced prefabrication, and precision execution across the site.

Congratulations to Project Executive Seth Porter for being named an Industry Leader by @NYREJ!

Seth has built some of the city’s most impressive and iconic hospitality destinations—from The Peninsula New York and JW Marriott Essex House New York to Four Twenty Five and The Diagrid Club at 425 Park Avenue.

In addition to helping drive growth in New York, Seth is also developing the next generation of leaders. Having great mentors throughout his career—which spanned estimating, field, and operations—he knows the importance of passing on knowledge, from his client service approach to technical building expertise.

The John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center has long been a cornerstone of Boston’s Back Bay—welcoming millions of visitors and serving as a key driver of the region’s convention and tourism economy. Its next chapter will include a series of renovations, many of which are happening behind the scenes—including $67 million in deferred maintenance upgrades our team is leading as part of a comprehensive effort to modernize critical building systems and restore key elements of this iconic facility.
