You have survived so much. Multiple wars, homelessness, physical abuse, whole body spinal paralysis, discriminations, deep despair and depression, abandonment, isolation, false accusations and ostracism, heartbreak, real world kill or be killed situations, and imminent close-range death numerous times. You are still here and doing the best you can. Let it all go. Live your life fully and keep getting on with it.
Most of the good done in the world is done by people nobody will remember, in ways that leave no monument, through the accumulation of small decencies that history does not record because history is interested in other things. Keep doing the good that needs to be done, in all the ways that need it, and in all the capacities that you need to be the person doing them.
Philosophy is of little worth unless it aspires to give an overview of a whole domain of thought, to display the ramifying network of conceptual relationships that characterize it, and to resolve problems and puzzlements that characteristically accompany reflection on it. Behavioral logic philosophy of human nature sits at the center of that categorical framework. #Hacker
Your efforts spent towards human connection are never wasted. Even when it seems to fail, appears dim, and falls short of any genuine meaning or purposeful value. Look for the spaces between the dialog, those moments of paused breath and contemplations of words spoken—it’s worth all you have.
Dual process theories have always been attractive partly due to the optimistic-sounding gloss they suggest: that we only need to think harder for our rational self to find the “light of Truth” and use it to correct our biased and careless base self. As a consequence of this background, dual-process theories generally have trouble accounting for effects where deliberation engenders even more bias, not less. Resultantly, modeling identity-protective motivated cognition for critical reasoning flaws, can easily illustrate behavioral and decisional logic errors leveraged within that compromised motivated reasoning stemmed from the root-held bias.
Once you end all of the unnecessary concern for some issue or another that is well beyond your control, you can quite quickly and easily return to your normal life of living at ease—waking up and going to sleep daily with your usual extraordinarily calm and relaxed nervous system.
Resist feeling bad about finally giving up on something that you’ve struggled to understand, make any sense of, and have extensively discussed with relevant others to only arrive together at the same re-validating level of shared group confusion on the issue, topic, or situation.
Behavioral ideology works in sly ways. We see the contradictions, laugh at them when it disrupts our conditioned beliefs, and keep going anyway. Awareness does not rescue us. We enable it to become part of the script our emotional ego has protected. Desire itself is shaped, and we cooperate willingly with societal structures we claim to reject. The framing effect we provide to our availability heuristics blinds us to double down on incredibly horrible decisional choices and life directional paths that skew wider irrationally the longer we insist on our rightness.
Discourse analysis shifts attention away from individual experience toward language as social behavior actions. It assumes that words do not merely describe reality, but actively shape it. Speech and text are examined as products of power, culture, and institutional norms. Normative concern is not personal intention—but social functionality. What can be said, how it is said, and what remains unsaid all become analytically important within a behavioral logic lens. Knowledge here is critical rather than descriptive, revealing how realities are constructed, maintained, and contested through language choice. Discourse analysis looks beyond what is said to how it is said. It examines language within its social context, focusing on how language shapes—and is shaped by—power dynamics, culture, and societal behavioral structures.
Fundamental intentional states can become quite scrambled within a confusion among minimal content and objective content, as each plays its distinct role in every analysis construct for behavioral logic applications of human representation. Deliberately distinguishing accurate awareness of minimal content from knowledge of the objective content makes available the options for rightful transparency to differentiate clear understandings of the behavioral intentionality, and collapses any falsely perceived intentional states.
Last day.
Do what you are supposed to do.
Do what you have been avoiding.
Do what you know you need to do.
Do what you have been afraid to do.
Do what you should have been doing.
Do what you know is the right thing to do.
Do what your conscience requires for you.
Do it before the new first day arrives undone.
Good criticism, built on a broad and deep knowledge of literature and enlivened by a capable sensibility is the best friend a writer, philosopher, and poet can have. In the best criticism, the reader is also brought into that circle of friendship space in devoted critical reason.
I haven’t shared any of my poetry in a while, even though I write every day. This one is new, and like all good writers who engage the craft seriously, is reflective and influenced by ones environmental experiences throughout your life.
My Poetry, Winter-Over, by Shawn Harris
Winter-over, a new day is near
Ending of cycles, see through fear
The frost it creeps, from every side
Must turn away now, go, leave, ride
Warmth before is now just dark
Hovering in hope left its mark
Exit the waiting room, its time is up
Reluctantly depart with our empty cup
Memories remain, they have nowhere to go
Savor the years, the best of my life, ya know
Remember the good, our times in the Sun
We made the best of any rare bad, and still won
Cold wet winds, bringing confusion and pain
Erroneous flow, no conversations, only more rain
Years of seasons, summers, springs, and falls
A final winter has settled in, just silence to all calls

Folk psychology and pop psychiatry seem undoubtedly incomplete, including many misaligned patterns targeted at behavioral logic. Even in areas in which they appear successful, the success certainly does not depend on the employment of legitimized first-person perspectives alone.
To legitimately understand something is to perceive, observe, and transparently acknowledge its behavioral patterns—without subjective biases, comforting heuristics, or personally compromised societal agreeableness attributes of popular culture fashions and groupthink pressures.
Human event prediction using forms of spatial-temporal data observations for predictively recursive behavioral approach in categorical logic ordering, reliably produces high success probability ratios when filtered for random anomalous life-event and consequence-inducing actions.
