@flatland_sports “Your manufactured outrage at Texas Tech over this is embarrassing.” - seriously?? Your justification for letting him play is embarrassing. This rule has been in sports for over a hundred years and every elite athlete is aware of it and the consequences for violating.
@JarheadFrog Clearly assaulting a female is worse than betting on football, however there is a Pretty big difference here, Boykin went to prison for his action and never played football again. What consequences has Sorsby faced?
@mrlongshore If they want to stick up for the kid as “family” then do so by showing him that integrity and accountability mean something. What message are they sending this “family” member and future recruits by not holding him accountable?
@JacksonBig12 Dude - you cannot justify this. I’m not saying the judge was “bought off”, but he definitely got it wrong. The kid needs to be held accountable. He knew the rules and he violated them, show some credibility.
@TateHorsford@DryfitVenables Not true at all. TCU’s Gary Patterson kicked Trevon Boykin off the team the night before the Alamo Bowl for breaking curfew and getting in a bar fight. He also kicked Casey Pachal of the team for a DWI when 4-0 and Pachal was the number one rated QB in the country at the time.
@AmericanAir - purchased tickets months ago for whole family to PWM. Flight got changed by one minute (from your agent) so seats got rearranged and for return flight family split up and I am stuck with window seat vs aisle. Is this how you treat Platinum Pro customers American?
