The Texas State Board of Education adopted a new Bible-infused curriculum for elementary school students.
These new lessons elevate Christianity over the other major world religions.
This curriculum is unconstitutional, un-American, and deeply un-Christian.

Of course, I believe these to be true, but in this context they only baptize losing in religious terms for supremacy cultures
In this election, if you’re concerned about division…
More than equity
More than dignity
More than opportunity
More than justice
More than mercy
Maybe pursue unity through these things, not despite them.
Then you will not just squash division but actually find shalom.
I have heard the justified and serious concerns of people of color, women, and LGBTQ folks in our community–which makes this consequential for all of us. In light of this, I wanted to offer some words of solidarity and encouragement...
