@Dom_Cotroneo Pretty embarrassing showing this weekend.
Hitters chasing, relievers walking guys at high rate.
We have a race in this division. Cubs look more brewers like than we do.
@Dom_Cotroneo Both can and are true.
Offensively team is more talented than years past but isn't "grinding " as much and the non competitive ABs are growing.
Pen is reliant in 3-4 arms and that isn't sustainable over 162.
@Wisconsin_fam We've had 3 once in a lifetime talents either Favre, Rodgers, and Giannis.
We (and more importantly the organizations) treated em like Gods and got mad when the they acted like it.
@DeaconMill@Dom_Cotroneo@620wtmj Good to see brewers play fundamental baseball late. Feels like that's been missing though overall talent is higher than years past.
@CyrtHogg Im being reasonably serious. Can brewers just shut him down until late September for playoffs?
While not a lock to win division, really good bet to make playoffs without him. But absolutely need him in October.
@Dom_Cotroneo I want our guys to have the honor and distinction and money that comes with being an all star....
But wouldn't mind they rest at home after no off days heading into break
@DeaconMill@Todd_Rosiak Assuming both win division, tho cubs and Phillies will make things difficult, Braves have slight edge with more slug and better pen at moment.
Hopefully both areas can be addressed before a potential playoff matchup for brewers.
@Dom_Cotroneo Ill call it ace effect for both teams. Seen such elite pitching last two games, any different arm was going to feel like rookie ball.
Hopefully gasser can keep braves off barrels but I fully expect slugfest today.
