4 years ago I attempted ending my life. Now fast forward 4 years later, I just graduated with my dream job, I’m engaged to the absolute love of my life and I have the best support system a girl could ever ask for. Life really does come around full circle. Don’t give up. ❤️
Taylor Tinsley shouldered a massive load for @UCLASoftball the entire season.
She threw 235 innings, about 3.5 times that of the next arm on staff.
33 wins (t-3rd in program history) and nearly 4,000 pitches (3,998) later, @TaylorTinsley7 left it all on the field.
What Oklahoma did for so long can’t be ignored.
From 2015-2025 they made the WCWS.
8 National Titles since 2000.
The only 4-peat we’ve seen in softball.
Respect on what a run it was.
Moms are not excited for sex just because they’re tired. Many mothers do want sex, want to feel that spark again but foreplay doesn’t start with a boob grab at 10:42 PM. It starts when someone else does bedtime so she can exhale. It starts when the dishes are already done, the counters are wiped, and she didn’t have to ask. It starts when he takes her face in his hands in the kitchen, and looks her in the eyes like she’s a person to be cherished. Foreplay isn’t physical; it’s foresight.
Unpopular opinion: Homeschooling is way more doable than people pretend. It doesn’t take 8 hours a day or a teaching degree. A couple focused hours can change a child’s entire future. You can work full‑time and still do it. At some point we have to admit the truth: our kids need protecting. And if that means parents stepping up, rearranging life for a season, and choosing the harder path now so our children inherit something better, then that’s the cost of love.
Mi amiga trabaja en emergencias desde hace 10 años.
Empezó joven.
Nada la altera ya.
Ha visto de todo.
Accidentes graves.
Infartos masivos.
Personas inconscientes, sangrando, al límite.
Un día le pregunté
qué pacientes nunca se olvidan.
Se quedó callada.
Después dijo:
“No son los politraumatizados.
Ni los que llegan sin reaccionar.
A esos los atiendes.
Actúas.
Sigues.”
Los que se quedan contigo
son los que entran caminando.
Una mujer joven.
Tranquila.
Bien arreglada.
Dice:
“Solo me duele un poco el pecho.”
Un hombre que llegó solo.
No quiso llamar a nadie.
“No quiero molestar”, dijo.
Una mamá que pidió permiso
para mandar un audio rápido.
“Es solo para avisar”, dijo.
Todos repitieron la misma frase:
“Pensé que no era nada.”
Tenían planes.
Citas.
Pendientes.
Mensajes que mandar.
Personas que ver.
Algunos no salieron.
Mi amiga dice que eso es lo que más pesa.
No el caos.
No la sangre.
Sino la normalidad.
Personas comunes
en un día común
pensando que había tiempo.
Desde entonces, cada vez que minimizo algo,
me acuerdo de esto.
La vida no siempre avisa fuerte.
A veces susurra.
Si este texto te hizo detenerte un segundo,
no lo ignores.
Guárdalo.
Y escúchate más.
The first year postpartum is about recovery, not restriction.
The baby steals a LOT from you. Iron from your blood. Calcium from your bones. DHA from your brain. Protein from your muscles. Choline, zinc, B12, folate. All of it going to grow and feed another human.
You have to be intentional about putting those reserves back into your body. If you don't, you end up depleted and it leads to all the classic postpartum symptoms. Hair falling out in clumps. Anxiety and rage that comes out of nowhere. Depression. Brain fog. Exhaustion that seems insurmountable. Feeling "touched out" and overstimulated. Thyroid dysfunction. Losing your milk supply.
It can be uncomfortable to carry an extra 5, 10, 20 pounds while breastfeeding and recovering from birth. But that extra weight is HEALING and PROTECTIVE. It's your body holding onto reserves to make sure you and your baby survive. It isn't something to be ashamed of or try to get rid of prematurely.
This is so hard to accept in practice. Trust me, I'm living this right now for the third time. But it's something I have to remind myself and my mom friends of often.
Your body just did the hardest thing it will ever do. Feed it. Rest it. Give it time.
Don't optimize for short-term wins. Play the long game.

Really? He’s 3-2 in In his 1st 5 Super Bowls as was Brady. The difference? Mahomes went to 5 in 7 seasons as a starter. It took Brady 11 seasons as a full time starter to get to 5. These pesky things called facts….🤷🏻♂️
