A history lesson regarding Uluru. The Aṉangu people have inhabited Uluru for AT LEAST 30000 years. It was ‘discovered’ and named Ayres Rock in 1873, then reverted to its original name of Uluru in 1993. Meaning, it was only known as Ayres Rock for 120 years out of 30,000 years.
@BradBattinMP 1. That ‘recent poll’ is from the IPA, a right wing think tank with some questionable (and secretive) donors.
2. Victoria’s Indigenous community overwhelmingly support it.
3. What is your proposal/plan to empower First Australians?
4. Has Dog Whistling ever worked for the LNP?
Anyone waving a eureka flag at the “march for Australia” tomorrow has no idea what this flag symbols. One of symbols of the flag was the shared struggles of miners settling into a new country. It DOES NOT symbol white supremacy. #MarchForAustralia
"It's hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help... If I say I am Christian, but do these things, I'm a hypocrite."
- Pope Francis
Remember last election when the media went on for weeks about Albo’s ‘gaffe’, but Dutton has changed position/dropped policy and admitted mistakes about what a foreign leader said and there hasn’t been wall to wall coverage of it. Media bias on show.

Dr Monique Ryan fires back at Speers’ claim that media don’t write things for politicians
“Some of the RW press in this country should come with a verification from the Lib Party coz I do think that much of what is put in the press has been fed to it by my political opponents”🔥
I know many of you have seen in the news this morning reports of uncertainty in the global economy and Australia's markets.
In uncertain times, our country needs strong economic management.
The Coalition has the proven track record for handling global shocks – from September 11 to Covid.
Ahead of the Global financial crisis, the Coalition delivered 10 surpluses and paid off all Commonwealth debt.
Before Covid, the Coalition tackled Labor’s reckless spending to balance the budget.
Just over a week ago, in their fourth budget, Labor announced 10 straight years of deficits.
This has to change - for this generation and the next.
In this campaign the choice is about who can better manage our economy to help you get ahead.
That is the plan I’m putting on the table, it’s our plan to get Australia back on track.
Peter
Peter Dutton was Minister for Border Control in the Government that gave the port to the Chinese-owned company in the first place.
This election promise should remind us that the Coalition - especially with that flotsam, Dutton, at the helm - is not fit to govern. #Auspol
