👀 Von Miller says he wants to join the #Cowboys front office when he finishes playing football:
“whether it’s director of pro personnel, team president, assistant GM, GM …
“I want to be in the front office, in any capacity. Will [McClay] has done an incredible job of fanning that flame, and giving me a chance to live a triple dream here with the #DallasCowboys. “
IT’S OFFICIAL🚨: #Cowboys DC Christian Parker will coach from the sideline, just as he did in the preseason, per HC Brian Schottenheimer.
For Parker, being on the sideline allows him to stay directly connected to his players throughout the game. His biggest emphasis since arriving in Dallas has been communication, and having him physically alongside the defense gives him another opportunity to make adjustments, reinforce assignments and keep players locked in between series.
It also fits the identity Parker has established since taking over. He’s been heavily involved with his players on the field, in meetings and during drills, bringing an extremely hands-on approach to his first season as a defensive coordinator. Now, that same presence will carry over to Sundays as he works to turn a young, revamped Cowboys defense into a disciplined and aggressive unit.
