Viola Davis’ career spans decades, with some of her biggest milestones coming later in life.
She grew up in “abject poverty,” living in rat infested, condemned buildings and at times eating out of garbage cans and dumpsters.
In 2015, she became the first woman of color to win the Emmy for best lead actress in a drama for "How to Get Away With Murder." A year later, she won an Academy Award for "Fences," a role that had already earned her a Tony Award.
In 2023, she completed EGOT status with a Grammy for narrating her memoir "Finding Me." She is also a co owner of JuVee Productions, which helped bring "The Woman King" to the screen.
She is one of the greatest living self-made Americans on the #Forbes250 list. https://t.co/dD3PMhGYdb

Please stop. I don’t want an AI summary of my Google search. I don’t want an AI summary of the text message from my friend at work. I don’t want an AI summary of the email I’m about to read. Please just stop.
Rest in peace, Professor ❤️ Thank you, Tom Kane, for lending your voice to the father of three perfect little girls and bringing The Force to millions of fans. You'll live on in our childhood memories forever.
Why do streaming apps make it a scavenger hunt to find the show I was just watching? The "Continue Watching" row should always be the very first option. Period.
Mind you, when it was convenient yall was saying lame ass shit like “I am not my elders and ancestors.” Like they were ever weak. Just for them to show up and do more than us in their seasoned years while we tweet.
i wanted them to keep the 6 ft distance lines in stores because there’s still genuinely no reason anyone should be remotely close to me. i should be able to stick my arm out, do a spin and not touch ANYONE
