whenever i see older women asked what they would have done differently as a young adult, the answers are overwhelmingly something along the lines of: "i would have set more boundaries and not constantly put myself last" and the answers from older men to young men is...different.
@notcapnamerica Her explanation on instagram says it’s a tribute to him because he was a designer. I’m guessing he requested to be celebrated this way.
Has someone ever done something to you and afterwards you’re not upset or don’t forgive them, but you just realised that they clearly don’t respect or value you and you need to adjust your relationship with them?
once I asked my mom if she thought my dad was autistic and she said no
then she started telling me a story about how she learned morse code because my dad went through a period where he would exclusively communicate via morse code FOR MONTHS, and I just stared at her
I can’t express this enough, you have NO IDEA what other people carry with them everyday. You have NO IDEA what someone’s life is like. Don’t create more pain & stress to others. Be kind. BE genuine. Stop being so mean to people to fulfill whatever it is you don’t like about you
