We were excited to host our First Annual ECW Market! Our students worked hard to create, plan, and bring their ideas to life. It was a fun-filled event showcasing student-led PBLs. We are so proud of their creativity and entrepreneurship! @FultonCoSchools@ecwestwildcats
@ecwestwildcats first ever Wildcat Market was a blast! We had an amazing turn out, positive vibes from everyone, and First Grade’s Garden Shop was a huge success! I am proud of my class’ product - hanging planters and pipe cleaners that they made themselves! We even sold out!
Today consisted of an extended morning meeting on “peace and quiet” with a mindfulness activity using “breathing buddies!” Then, students conferred and worked with their peers to support comprehension with our 95 core passages.
Shoutout to
@ecwestwildcats
Spring Girls on the Run team for completing our 2nd season’s 5K! Our coaches and girls have worked so hard, and we loved all the cheerleaders and support!

Hooray! My student teacher is about to complete her time with our First Graders this year. The students and I have enjoyed watching her grow, and learning from her. Would you support her in establishing her first classroom? https://t.co/okrJF7jfj6 @clearinglists#clearthelist
This is a fantastic resource (I have one myself) in the classroom, if you'd like to support my teacher friend! @BugejaBrittany https://t.co/XyUdqLiESO @DonorsChoose@clearinglists
The @ATLHawks & Georgia’s Own Credit Union joined Vision To Learn to host at @ecwestwildcats. More than 100 students received gifts celebrating National Reading Month. The Atlanta Hawks Foundation announced a $1.2 million commitment to Vision to Learn at the event. #FCSnews
@ClearTheList2 Not my list but here is my student teacher’s! She would appreciate any help in getting supplies for her first classroom - https://t.co/okrJF7jfj6
Readers are leaders! My “made it” moment with my first graders occurred this past week when they started requesting “Read to Self” time. They were so excited that we turned our indoor recess into “read-cess!” I love seeing them light up when reading their books.
@ecwestwildcats
To celebrate Read Across America Week, students dressed as their favorite book characters, and several students who completed the 40 Book Challenge earned a free book from our vending machine to add to their home libraries. Proud of these readers! @ecwestwildcats
