It was a great day for Findlay RHP @DylanRouse15 as he hit 90 for the first time today (T90.7, Avg FB 88.8) and held a higher average than before.

After the spring, we developed a training plan based on Dylan’s goals and his main goal was to head back to school in the fall with improved velocity.

So he got to work and was consistent with his throwing and lifting and working on some mechanical areas we identified.

The result today was because of a lot of work and sticking to a plan. It’s great to see it pay off.

Coaching HS baseball is just different! You are together day in and day out, most of the time not on a field. There is a ton of down time during a game. This is when you really get to know the personality of your guys. The last two years have been so much fun with this group!

Shea is a 2024 RHP from Geneva HS and is committed to @lakeeriebase.

This off-season, his FB averaged 88.64 in his final mound great, which was a 3.5 mph increase.

He also added 10lbs during the off-season and improved his strength metrics across the board.

In addition to his FB, Shea worked on his SL which now spins at over 2700 RPMs with up to 21 inches of horizontal break.
