The WNBA is sending a dangerous message by letting this slide. DiJonai Carrington was ejected for a hard foul, then posted “white privilege,” and somehow there’s no additional accountability. If a white player did the same thing after targeting a Black player, would the league stay silent? Race shouldn’t determine who gets protected, excused, or punished. Same rules. Same consequences.
