Called it.
More attacking than Gusto, certainly what we need in what clearly will be Xabi's 3ATB system.
Didn't mind Gusto but far too passive in the final third for what we need.
While it's great to read that Hato will get a more important role under Alonso, fully deserved from his end of season form, it must be at LCB and not LWB.
Play him to his strengths. #CFC
Sad to see Cucurella go. Yes his form dipped when Maresca left but was still an important player on the pitch and in the dressing room.
Will they sign a replacement or allow Hato & Quenda to take that LWB spot?

I'm all for selling Gusto, far too passive for my liking when in the final third. However, potentially replacing him, Cucurella, Enzo, CBs etc in one window sounds a task.
@AlexisIsKavkas I'd argue Quenda would be one of the wing backs, perhaps Cucurella's "replacement" (with a more experienced option in rotation). Use him to his strength and fly down the wing
