One day (maybe sooner or later?) the world would know my name (and sing my songs) and Jesus would be glorified through my life! I’ll dedicate myself to hard-work and growth. I won’t stop nor will I slowdown!❤️💪🏾
Forgive your parents.
For not listening to you. For comparing you with your age mates. For being too hard on you. They are humans who are capable of making mistakes too.
Forgive them because a lot of them knew very little about parenting before they started raising children.
Forgive your parents.
Some of them got married in their teen years, some others, their early twenties. They were still figuring life out. They learnt parenting on the job. They had little or no access to the internet.
There were books but some could not read as a result of lack of education. They knew nothing about emotional intelligence. They used the rod more than they gave a hug.
The roots run deep. The rhythm is getting louder. And the table is getting bigger.💚
What started as a celebration of Amala, culture, music and community continues to grow.
This year, we’re taking it up another notch as we proudly announce:
AMALA FESTIVAL 5.0 ROOTS, ROYALTY & RHYTHM
A celebration of where we come from, the people who carry our culture forward, and the sounds that bring us together.🫰🏾
Where roots meet rhythm. Where food meets culture. Where tradition meets a new generation. Where Ibadan shows up and shows out.
Five editions in, and the story is still being written.
This is not just another festival.
This is Amala. This is our culture. This is our time.

Don't visit that pornography website tonight.
You have been set free. You don't have to return to what God delivered you from.
There is no need to return to Egypt for garlic and onions when God has already brought you out. There is nothing behind you that is worth returning to.
Well, you just handed them a personal invitation to hell.
Please, let’s be cautious. Don’t take Scriptures out of context, and don’t say what Scripture doesn’t say.
Selah.
I was watching a sermon clip some days back, and I heard this popular Man of God say something like, “God hates poor people,” “poverty is proof that you have sin in your life” and, “poverty is a sign of ungodliness.”
I was genuinely thrown aback by that statement.
Because when you tell your members that their wealth is proof of their holiness, you are indirectly insinuating that regardless of the means, and whatever the cost, if they can go to any extent to get the bag, they are automatically holy.
