The fact that officers like Tukaram Mundhe, Kiran Bedi and Ashok Khemka become public heroes just for doing their jobs says a lot about how badly people have been failed by the system.

Food inspections, stopping illegal construction, enforcing election rules, refusing political pressure.

None of this should be extraordinary. It should be normal government work.

But when people are used to delays, bribes, endless paperwork and being made to run from pillar to post, an officer who simply follows the rules starts looking like a hero.

The real problem is not that we have too few good officers.

The system often makes honesty costly and compliance with rules optional. Until doing your job properly becomes normal, we will keep celebrating officers for doing what they were appointed to do.

You listened to and accepted many of the demands raised by the CJP. Bestow the same benevolence upon us in the General Category too.

We the General Category, have stood firmly with you and the BJP right from the past 11 years.
We have supported you, defended you and voted for you.

But many of my friends and followers from the General Category feel vulnerable when they see a general category citizen falsely implicated under the SC-ST Act. When even one person is falsely implicated, it creates fear and insecurity among others in the community.

GC students are becoming increasingly disheartened and demoralised when parties such as Congress, SP and RJD support reservations beyond 50%.

Whom should we appeal, trust and speak to ???
The general category has never protested like the CJP, Shaheen Baag protestors or the farmers. Does one really have to protest or abuse the government to be heard in India ????

I humbly request that the concerns of the General Category also be addressed through judicial and and task force.

1. The SC/ST Act should be invoked only after appropriate judicial scrutiny of the case or by a task force.
2. Reservation policies should have a defined time frame and be periodically reviewed.
3. Reservation in government jobs should not be given if either of the the parents or grandparents are already in government service or belong to an economically privileged section.
4. If any member of a family has a high end income, reservation should be denied.
5. If one generation has benefited from reservation, the next generation should not automatically inherit the same benefit.

I am and will always remain your strongest supporter. But it pains me when I see your supporters getting disillusioned with you. Please address this appeal of the General Category at the earliest. Please reassure them🙏🙏

Influence is not immunity.

Artists, like everyone else, must respect the law and recognise the responsibility that comes with endorsing products, behaviours and habits that shape public choices.

When influence is used to endorse food products, public health cannot be an afterthought.

In Maharashtra, we have already issued notices to artists for endorsements that raise concerns in the larger public interest.

No one is above the law. And influence must never become a licence to promote what may harm public health.

The principle is simple: no one is above the law, and no commercial interest can take precedence over public health.@rashtrapatibhvn

Public health and public livelihood aren't opposing goals. They are two responsibilities of the same system and our goal is to hold both, together.

The vendor try to earn a livelihood, The business that creates jobs. The citizen who expects safe food. The consumer whose health must be protected. And the regulator responsible for ensuring that the rules are followed.

Good governance is not about choosing one over another. It is about creating a ecosystem where livelihood, vibrant food culture and public health can coexist.
