UGC NET June 2026 Commerce, English & Sociology Reconduct.

My View as A Teacher- Sociology re-exam may be justified if serious errors affected the fairness of the paper. But Commerce & English deserve a different consideration. As they faced major concerns over PYQ repetition.

2/3 After appearing in June, students waited weeks for the answer key and now, on 16 August, they are expected to prepare again within ~20 days.
Is this really a fair solution for students?
Their months of preparation, time, anxiety and career plans cannot be ignored.

As educators, we teach responsibility, timelines, and accountability. Today, we respectfully expect the same from the examining authority. This is not a protest, it is a request for clarity.

Students are not asking for anything extraordinary.
They are simply asking for communication.
If there is a delay, please tell students why. If timelines have changed, please let them know.
Silence only increases anxiety and speculation.
