Shri Sonam Wangchuk has now been on a hunger strike for 19 days, demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister.

The Indian National Congress has been making this very demand for over a month and a half. We share the anguish and outrage that Shri Wangchuk ji feels, especially due to the lack of accountability within the Modi Govt - for the collapse of the examination system in particular.

In view of his health condition, we appeal to Shri Wangchuk to end his fast. His concerns are our concerns and that of other Opposition parties as well.

My letter to the PM Modi, once again requesting him to convene an All Party Meeting to discuss the Government’s revise proposals on Delimitation etc.

All of March and April, 2026, I had been writing to Hon'ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs requesting that the Union Government convene an All Party Meeting to discuss its proposals regarding Delimitation etc.

Unfortunately, these requests had not been accepted. The Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026, then failed to secure the required 2/3rd majority in Lok Sabha on 17 April, 2026 by a clear margin.

A historic internal security initiative has commenced in Kerala to make South India drug-free. As part of 'Operation Toofan: The Narco Hunt', a high-level meeting convened by Kerala brought together Police Chiefs from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry, along with top officials from central agencies like Kerala-Lakshadweep Customs, NCB, DRI, SIB, and RPF at the Police Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Southern states have today launched a massive internal security coordination that serves as a model for the entire country. All participants announced in the meeting that an SP-rank officer will be urgently appointed as a Nodal Officer in their respective states for 'Operation Toofan: The Narco Hunt'.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, and the Home Ministers of these states for responding positively to Kerala's request for this joint initiative, extending their support, and appointing the necessary officers.

Chaired a high-level meet with Kerala MPs ahead of the Monsoon Session. Urged them to work cohesively as the 'true ambassadors' of the State in Delhi, collectively advocating for Kerala's developmental priorities and legitimate fiscal rights.

Highlighted strategic projects in Port, Aviation, and NH infra, alongside our fiscal constraints. To empower MPs and expedite central clearances, a dedicated project-tracking dashboard and a Nodal Officer will be institutionalized at the CMO.

Speaking to @PTI_News in New Delhi today on the demand to question Opposition leaders in the Ayodhya corruption case and the BJP government’s handling of the investigation:

What we are witnessing is a strange situation where the real perpetrators of corruption are being protected, while those raising questions are being targeted. If someone else committed the alleged corruption, what justification is there for demanding the questioning of Congress leaders?

Instead of resorting to such political theatrics, the government should announce a high-level independent investigation under the direct supervision of the Supreme Court. A transparent probe of that nature would ensure that the statements of everyone connected with this issue, including those who have spoken about it, are properly recorded and examined.

What the country needs is not a directionless investigation driven by political motives or aimed at selectively targeting individuals. It needs a credible, impartial, and high-level investigation that reflects the seriousness of these allegations.

NEET पेपर लीक के कुछ ही हफ्तों बाद अब खबरें आ रही हैं कि -

- UGC-NET परीक्षा से ठीक पहले 100 पन्नों की एक PDF प्रसारित हुई।
- यह PDF उस question paper setting की है, जो सिर्फ़ NTA के पास उपलब्ध होती है।
- PDF के लगभग 90 सवाल Sociology के असली प्रश्नपत्र से मेल खाते हैं।
- वही प्रश्नपत्र ₹2.25 लाख में बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश, हरियाणा, दिल्ली और राजस्थान में बेचा जा रहा था।
- इसी नेटवर्क ने CSIR-NET, HTET और ADA जैसी आगामी परीक्षाओं के प्रश्नपत्र उपलब्ध कराने का भी दावा किया।

NEET और NET में बार-बार सामने आए घोटालों के बाद भी मोदी सरकार आंखें मूंदकर सो रही है, क्योंकि लाखों छात्रों की रात-रात जागकर की गई सालों की मेहनत उनके लिए कोई मायने नहीं रखती।

सारा देश जानता है कि प्रधानमंत्री और शिक्षा मंत्री से किसी भी तरह की जवाबदेही या कार्रवाई की उम्मीद बेकार है - न जांच होगी, न छात्रों को न्याय मिलेगा।

बदलाव का एकमात्र औज़ार हमारी सम्मिलित आवाज़ है - देश भर के छात्रों की गूंज, जो भारत में शिक्षा revolution लाकर रहेगी।

All efforts are on to rescue those still trapped in the landslide. Respected CM, Shri. V D Satheesan is monitoring relief efforts himself, the police and NDRF have been at the site for some time, SDRF teams and civil defence volunteers have also reached.
