Openai literally flipped the entire ai landscape on its head
most ai code is likely tech debt
companies have spent hundreds of millions of dollars building their own "assistants api"
And now its available to everyone
This is huge for the little guys, brutal for the big guys
Day #967
I had clear goals for myself, almost none of which I’ll share on here for reasons of privacy to myself and my clients.
But I will say this: they were not light and I’m exceeding my own expectations.
*Well, not complete. I’m setting up an office in each of our 3 bedrooms + our “hallway nook” because I like to move around, a lot. And because I seem to collect vintage desks. 3 of the 4 upstairs spaces are now complete. The biggest office is still in the works.
Day #980 Guess we’re “X’ing” now? Grumble.
It’s been a busy and fantastic few days. Schedule is filling up fast and the value / fit is looking more and more compelling. On admin, completed setup of home office,* joined co-working space, continued set up @HubSpot.
Day #981
I've outgrown my homegrown CRM, it's a pain to maintain and I'm concerned I'm going to slip on a contact or two.
Now on Hubspot demo and may stay here because I don't want to set up another system. Glad it's done, don't wanna do it again.
@cathrynlavery I pedaled so fast back to Grandma's after learning of this "business permit" and hid from the neighbor for the rest of my childhood years.🫣
#987 I'm scheduled for daily posts through next Tuesday, a far cry from my goal of always having at least one month of daily (M-F) posts scheduled. I (aim to) maintain the one-month buffer in case of a client crunch time, to ensure continuous content coverage.

Yesterday was busy, no time to post. Things have picked up drastically this week and I've yet to get moving on cold outreach. Some local ATX activity as well as via network of former colleagues. Working on a course format for materials to give more flexibility to clients.
Our recent post explored the benefits of SAFEs over Convertible Notes in early-stage startup funding. Today we demystify 'Capped' and 'Uncapped' SAFEs. Uncover the implications for founders and investors in our latest blog post.

-Continued this week to deep dive into recent fundraises, overwhelming theme has been AI everywhere. Released summary as part of blog post.
-Identified and reached out regarding a local interim CFO role, looks to be very good client/sharc match.
2 meetings set for next week.
Today I'm starting a 1,000 day countdown for Sharc Finance (Day #1000 = July 7, 2023; Day #1 to be April 2, 2026). This will be a simple log that's action- and results-driven. The goal is to (hopefully) show compound progress and results over time.

Continued outreach and confirmed first scheduled emails and messages are complete. Updated "CRM" (still scrappy spreadsheet) with latest outreach. Scheduled first introductory session for next Wednesday.
