@MeganFoxWriter Because its what all the cool kids threaten to do? I dunno. It was never on my journalism checklist back in the day.
Now the jourminalism checklist..... That may be the issue.
@AuthorGFAllen Most of the books I read, if I truly like them, yes. I believe that I have read The Hobbit at least 50 times. Return of the King even more. All of the Narnia books? Innumerable times.
Books are my food. Full stop.
@janecoaston I was reading CS Lewis at 10-12. That Hideous Strength gave me some problems but I powered through. I even attempted Tolkein's Silmarilian at that age. Couldn't do it. Still can't do it to this day. So weird.
@willows_elise The ONLY time that has ever happened to me has been at a focused formal event with a small guest list when someone had a wardrobe malfunction in a fussy fancy dress and couldn't manage it themselves. So, like once. But I guess that's not public?
Ok, so never. lol
@max_gagliardi My father used to read that and all of Roald Dahl's books to us at bedtime. It sparked my interest in reading. To this day the vast amount of things I know just because I read books to feed that hunger is astounding.
@SydneyLWatson It was great! I loved it so much. Hubby was disappointed in one of the deaths, but I rationalized it using oriental mythology lore. Good summer fun, as it should be!
