UK university administrators are repeatedly using arbitrary, and in some cases biased, reasoning to shut world-leading programs and departments.

And the results of my experimental archaeology! Proof that peat works as an iron smelting fuel! It was a short smelt at just 3 hours but it produced a 'bloom' (the larger pieces to the left of the clay tùyere) with some metallic iron, and plenty of slags to analyse.
