Michelle Draper, CEO of BIS, spoke to @WomensSport about the joint BIS, @EIHA_Official & @IceManagersUK request for ice rinks to be allowed to open in #tier3.

Ice sports cannot continue in Tier 3, but other indoor sports can. This is because rinks have once again been categorised as Entertainment Venues, not Sport!

@darrenadam I’m an ice skating coach. Our athletes are not allowed to train despite it being an Olympic sport. Snow domes are open and trampoline parks etc. Rinks are going bankrupt with huge overheads and our athletes are falling behind
