The only way you can have a period inside a quotation, is if it ends with one. And, matter of factly, it does not take the role of the period expected to be after the quotation, if the quotation ends the sentence. THIS IS COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

You read some offer letters or estate terms or whatever sometimes and you're provoked to contempt.

Clauses and terms that are directly against settled constitutional provisions and case law.

"If a subscriber intends to get a refund, 20% administrative fee shall be deducted, but he shall he entitled to a full refund where the estate initiates the refund".

"Xyz may revoke your title or interest in the property without notice if you breach any estate rule"

"You agree to be bound by all rules and regulations that the management may come up with for the smooth running of the estate"

A client was given an offer for a piece of land early 2025. When we reviewed the offer and did a detailed letter to the real estate firm on why some clauses cannot stand, they couldn't reply on the substance. They only replied that they were no longer selling to our client and that our letter to them was defamatory.

If real estate companies are bent on killing people because they (people) want to own their own houses, we (lawyers) will also not get our knees off the necks of real estate firms o.
