#ShahRukhKhan has marked a major milestone for cricket in the United States with the unveiling of the LA Knight Riders Cricket Ground in Pomona, California. His Knight Riders Group (KRG) officially inaugurated the state-of-the-art venue, which is expected to play a significant role in the growth of the sport in the country ahead of its return to the Olympic Games.

The newly built stadium is set to host cricket matches during the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, where the sport will make its Olympic comeback after more than a century. The venue will also serve as the official home ground of the Los Angeles Knight Riders franchise in Major League Cricket.

Sharing the milestone with fans, Shah Rukh, who co-owns the Los Angeles Knight Riders, took to social media and described the inauguration as the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream.

He wrote, "What started as a dream... turns into reality today. Welcoming you all to the Knight Riders Cricket Ground, LA. A place built not just for sports but also entertainment and for families... and memories that last forever."

Sunil Pal revealed that Shah Rukh Khan would quietly visit his staff member’s house late at night to avoid media attention and simply check on their well being 🎙️:

"SRK's staff boy Subhash, who is no longer alive now. He used to live in the slum area where I used to stay on rent. So Shahrukh Khan sahab would come to his house once every four or five months. Whether it was our child’s birthday or any other occasion, he would come. He would arrive late at night, after it had become completely dark, quietly enter, sit for 10–15 minutes, and then leave"
