People's biases shape how technologies are created & used. For example, how will this footage be interpreted? Will cameras be more heavily located in certain areas?

In case you haven't been following, @NinaTurner tweeted that insulin should be free & the NH Libertarian Party told her that she should go back to picking cotton for free. None of the libertarians responding have denounced this blatant racism & are in fact doubling down.

@katewillett The fact of the matter is that housing availability is the single most important factor driving housing affordability and homelessness. Building more is the only way to make a significant difference, & I think that's where YIMBYs are really focused (tho some are v anti-homeless)

@katewillett This actually has never been shown in the research - in fact, luxury condos in an area typically drive the price of housing *down*. A lot of that rhetoric has been perpetuated by NIMBYS blocking housing projects in their neighborhoods (a remnant of "white flight")
