Calgarians deserve a fiscally-responsible, ethical, and common sense city council.
I'm ready to step up and advocate on behalf of the community I've called home the past 30 years. I'm running to represent the people of Ward 4.
See my statement below.

@CarmYEGAB I received my Edmonton Property Tax notice and you are correct...despite the conditions in Edmonton, it went up, for no good reason.
Fortunately, I'd sold in November and am not on the hook for that anymore.
Sorry to see you guys suffer unnecessarily, Maggie.
I talked about the decline in home sales and the drop in pricing that could be expected - back in September of last year - as related to the unnecessary densification through blanket rezoning.
I'd included this in discussion with getting the City Budget back inline, because when property values decline and taxes are based on their assessed value, additional revenue will be required just to keep up.
This is where we are now but there's still an additional 40-50k properties in the pipeline - scheduled for 2026, meanwhile - 1.15 Million Canadians will be renewing their mortgages and will see an average increase of 20% on their payments.
You're not going to like where this is headed.
Perhaps electing a Municipal Government that pivots on news instead of watching markets was a little short-sited, hey?

Hey Calgary Frens...I need your help.
The city has waged war on another small business, that's supported their community for almost 3 decades.
In my latest - I explain the situation. Read through to the end and become a part of the campaign to help support Cathy, her staff and dream at Angel's Cafe:
Like, Support and Share.
Should I run for a seat in the Alberta Legislature?
I've been enjoying my down-time following the municipal election, happy to be somewhat away from the political circle...but am getting requests to either run for council again - in 4 years - or to run for a seat in Leg...
And I don't know why I'd want to do this.
Thoughts?
@BonnieMeikle1@AlbertaFree1983 Add to this, Jun Lin signed up a few hundred of his friends...there were 18 more votes for president than were people allowed to vote...counting took forever.
The takeover of Edgemont is what happened. It's now the largest CA in Alberta, by way of memberships.
@DuckyA670947 This Recall Campaign is part of what is making politics disgusting in our country.
While I appreciate the intent of recall legislation - I have zero appreciation for the NDP and the Unions weaponizing it.
We will get no good people in politics if this continues.
This is amusing...
People that supported other candidates in the municipal election and voted against me, are now looking for my support.
