@pokeefe1 I thought it was just a load of empty rhetoric to try and ward off more pressure when it got out ahead of kick off that Paulinha was injured so they’d effectively been forced to buy Gallagher
@bbctms The clue is in the name Tuffers, spin bowler, my arm ball turns more than Bashir’s “ripper” - awful “spinner” shouldn’t of been on the plane ✈️
Let’s be clear: the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was built using the fans money, designed to benefit Levy and ENIC by extracting even more revenue from supporters to enrich themselves. It wasn’t constructed for us, the fans. It was built for them.
They've taken our money to create an entertainment venue that prioritises non-football events, all to increase their own profits. By leveraging our investment, they’ve inflated the value of their assets, while we’ve seen little return in terms of football success. This was done with our money, not theirs.
In exchange, they’ve given us just one League Cup in 25 years of ownership. During that time, we’ve been saddled with some of the most expensive season tickets in Europe, costly match-day tickets, three new kits every season (putting financial strain on families), and are now charging seniors full price. Meanwhile, they’ve failed to back multiple managers including Pochettino, Mourinho, Conte, and now Ange in the transfer market making it impossible for them to succeed. Yet, despite all this, some fans still believe they’ve done a good job.
People are entitled to their opinions, but the points above are facts, not my feelings. Nothing will change until we get new owners. If you’re content with the current situation, I genuinely question whether you understand how these owners have exploited us while delivering a substandard product at an inflated prices.
In the words of legend Keith Burkinshaw: “There used to be a football club over there.”
