@csimichael @areyoflight Thank heavens fostering to adopt is available but it can be absolutely heart breaking. You have to actively work toward reuniting the child with its birth family while privately hoping it fails.

@csimichael @areyoflight Though if you’ve ever seriously looked into it - it’s actually quite difficult for most people. If you have health issues, you have to go with private adoption ($$$$$) & then you are competing with rich people for the very limited supply of adoptable babies.

Finally found a new groomer after our last one left town. The appointment is still down the road a bit. Too few groomers for a retirement town where the next sizeable town is 70 miles away…

But if she was able to get to town in time (never learned to drive) her country doctor quietly took care of things. Thats why she only had 7 kids instead of 17. (She moved to that town as a 21 year old mother of 4.)
